A football-crazy kid in Hamburg’s immensely diverse St. Pauli neighbourhood, 15-year-old Piko has been friends with the regulars roaming the infamous Reeperbahn ever since he can remember. With all kinds of temptations waiting on the doorstep, his mother is trying hard to keep Piko, the self-proclaimed mayor of these streets, and his three siblings out of trouble.
He is by no means immune to the allure of Reeperbahn’s easy money, its bling-bling and monstrous SUVs. ‘Mama, I’ll Bring Home that Million’ is the title of Piko’s first Rapsong. For now, his mind is set on football to do that trick.
